Suuuuup? Listen, this is as serious as a heart attack, if we don’t get out and vote, this is what would happen:

Mexico will put up a wall to keep all of us out.(How ironic)

American cars will be made in Korea.(uh-oooooh)

You will loose all of your teeth.(don’t ask me why)

Credit cards will only be used as bookmarks.(Assuming the library can still afford to stock them)

You will alternate between chicken and seafood Ramen Soups for dinner.(if you’re livin’ it up)

You will have to learn how to sow your own clothes.(Daaaaaamn)

You will loose all of your teeth.(I’m not kidding)

The second use of Malls, will become it’s only use, elderly excersise tracks. (Millions of displaced teenagers)

You may have to offer your first born to Exxon for gas.How much do you love ‘em?(It may be a good deal)

Tap water will be taxed per gallon.(hey it costs money for the government to make it rain)

Then you will die, by your mailbox, waiting for your tax return, to buy the medicine that could have saved you, which wasn’t covered by your insurance company, because guess what? You don’t have an insurance company!

Just go freakin’ Vote will ya??????? You must be in line by 7pm. Let’s go.

 I was about to log into my yahoo account, when through the corner of my eye, I noticed a story to the left of my login box. It read, “Announcer’s Odd Apology, ESPN’s Tony Kornheiser makes a mysterious apology during Monday Night Football”

 First thought was that maybe he was caught with a hooker and was apologizing to his wife on national television to prove how very sorry he is. Shit I went far in that split second. I guess it’s our hunger for tabloid crap in this country.

 But I went ahead and opened the story, and quickly realized that the nonsense this guy apologized for wasn’t as sensational as my version, which would have made for better TV, but it was pretty damn….what’s the right word…STUPID. As it turns out, Kornheiser, after listening to a snippet of the Spanish-language broadcast of the game in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month (which most Hispanics don’t even know is going on) said this:

 “I took high school Spanish, either he said he’s not going to be caught, or please pick up my dry cleaning tomorrow.”

 Later, out of the blue, he says this:

 “I said something before which I shouldn’t have said, I apologize for it. Not my first mistake, undoubtedly won’t be my last, but 100% apology.”

 Apparently, some one was very offended. Comments in forums have been mixed. Too mixed I think.

 Listen up my non-issue addressing parade leading brothers. I, as a proud Hispanic American citizen of this country, have the right to comment on this from any damn angle I choose. This man made a joke; a joke that made fun of himself. He didn’t take a swipe at my mother or sister, or imply that dry-cleaning is my best shot at making a living in this country. Truthfully, if you desperately need a reason to be offended take a look at what our politicians are doing about immigration issues. I’m sure there is plenty for both sides to be offended.

 All I’m saying is, let’s not behave like we have an IQ that mirrors our waistline. I don’t have blinders on, I know about discrimination and stereotypes very well. I’ve experience it from my fair-skinned green-eyed Spanish speaking brethren just the same.

I have to be honest and tell you that it’s pretty damn liberating to accept that being politically correct is an act. Some of the funniest jokes I’ve heard have been “inappropriate” shots at groups of people, yes Hispanics included. Don’t act like you haven’t laughed at those mean jokes your uncle tells about Hispanics, African Americans, White People, Asians, Gays, Women, Men, Jews, Catholics, Muslims even handicap people…now that’s evil. I’m not suggesting that people should have no regard or respect for others. What I am saying is, that we shouldn’t be so ready to cry foul about insignificant things, because being predisposed to that makes us wrong more often than not.

 This man, did nothing wrong. Get over it, and lets start or join an organization of some sort to go after shit that matters ….CHAMPIONS. There is plenty of it.

This without a doubt, is a cool ass cover. I think I like it more than the original people. But you be the judge. The coolest part is the end….if you take a moment it’s not hard to figure out what happened to the singer, jeje. Pretty damn cool.

Sooo…you’ve always wanted to play the guitar…..ever since you were a bad ass terror of a little kid you dreamt of strapping on a guitar and rockin’ out…but now….

you’re too old….

you have no time……

you can’t afford to buy one…..

you can’t afford lessons….blah, blah $$####&^! blah.

Good thing this guy has no obstacles.

The Romanian pint-sized super star, Cleopatra Stratan, made it into the Guiness Book of World Records, AGAIN, as”youngest successful singer” or something like that. I guess successful is relative, but shit…people spend their lives trying to bake the biggest cake or pee the longest distance to get in there, this little one makes it in there not once, not twice, but three times?. Her first entry was as “The youngest singer to record an album” (She was 3 years old in 2006) an “The youngest singer in concert” the same year.

If you’re not yet feeling like you have some achieving to do, she also has three MTV Awards in her toy box. Soo…..start baking and peeing you slackers!

The Album Release Party For Def Jam Records songstress Karina @ Harlem Lanes was most definitely a blast. Karina’s Friends & Family came out to celebrate this special occasion with her. Yes, yes you read that right. Wall Street baby. Well, ok so, maybe we should clarify a little. We are on Wall Street via our new office accross from the stock exchange. So no, we haven’t gone public…yet =).

Actually, we have established offices in Miami, NYC and LA and will be operational in a couple of weeks in the triangle. Looking forward to working out of our Miami headquarters by the end of the month, NYC next month and LA right after. Sky Miles are about to get racked up! Let’s Go!!!
